Popular New Product Developed by a BYU Undergrad

While most undergrad students are just trying to stay ahead of their studies, some students have already started successful businesses. Spencer Quinn, a senior at Brigham Young University, has already started a business venture of his own: FiberFix.

Quinn’s concept for his business is a strong resin tape that can be used to make quick outdoor and emergency fixes. The tape was modeled after medical casting tape, but made to hold up against heat, cold, and water. Within its first year, FiberFix has become available in 1,600 retail locations, and has won Quinn a spot on ABC’s Shark Tank.
